Outsourced Contact Centre in Prisons wins Regional Service Award

In the recent Asia Pacific Customer Service Recognition of Excellence held at Hong Kong Disneyland on the 2nd of November 2007, Connect Centre Singapore was awarded a special "Community Contribution Award" and recognised as Best of the Best in the "Outsourced Call Centre" category. Connect Centre is an outsourced contact centre provider, operating contact centres in Singaporean prisons.

The objective of the Award program is to recognise the best of the best within the Contact Centre Industry, by celebrating achievement and best practice across the whole customer service sector in the Asia Pacific Region.

Catherine Foo, Connect Centre's General Manager said, "We are a true believer of providing people with a second chance and we placed strong faith in our vision. We see the possibilities of transforming inmates into outstanding Customer Service Agents by cultivating social values in offenders, equipping them with the right mindset, skills and professionalism. Winning the awards is an endorsement that we're on the right path, and credit goes to all our agents and team managers on this achievement."
